Young people in Moyale Town are demonstrating that meaningful conversations can drive positive change.

Through an interactive discussion on Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE), participants explored what violent extremism is, examined its drivers and impacts, and engaged in thoughtful questions that deepened their understanding of the issue.
The session also highlighted the importance of digital safety, equipping youth with practical skills to recognize misinformation, identify online recruitment tactics, and promote responsible use of digital platforms. By fostering critical thinking and encouraging youth-led counter-narratives, the discussion strengthened participants’ capacity to become ambassadors for peace, social cohesion, and resilience within their communities.
